Ditch Dodgy Dave
On April 16, 2016, thousands gathered in London for the "March for Health, Homes, Jobs, and Education," a national demonstration advocating for an end to austerity measures. Participants wielded banners and placards, some featuring the epithet "Dodgy Dave," a moniker popularized by Labour MP Dennis Skinner in reference to then-Prime Minister David Cameron amid controversies surrounding the Panama Papers. This series presents a candid photojournalistic account of the march, capturing the raw emotions and diverse expressions of the demonstrators. Through these images, I aim to document a pivotal moment in the UK's political landscape, reflecting the collective sentiment and the faces of those who took to the streets in pursuit of change.
